CS4 training can be sports-specific or a more general fitness program, based on the desires of the client/athlete. Programs and workouts tailored to Obstacle Course Racing are available, but they are certainly not the only option! Cali works with a multitude of people, from those first getting in shape, to youth soccer and basketball athletes, to Spartan racers, and more!
This is dependent upon the preferences of the client. Sessions can be done at the client's house, inside at a gym, or even a local field/park facility.
CS4 training is very diverse. Cali works to create an effective program largely based upon the client's goals, schedule, budget, etc. For instance, someone looking for a little bit of a push during their workouts might want to meet up for a weekly in-person training session. However, in-person training time is somewhat limited, as there are only so many hours in the day! Someone who wants an organized training program but has a tighter schedule might want to go the online training route, with daily customized workouts. Cali's online training programs offer the direction and guidance of a qualified trainer with the added perk of being able to complete the workouts whenever it works best for the client.
National Strength and Conditioning Association Strength and Conditioning Specialists (NSCA CSCS) are fitness professionals trained to create quality and effective programming with the main goal of enhancing performance. Whether said performance is more health-based or sports-based is specific to the individual. Those with the CSCS certification are well-versed in the most effective training modalities and injury prevention methods. They are also qualified to provide nutritional guidance when appropriate.
